people change. It’s inevitable. we conform to fit the world around us, whether it’s through learning new technologies, meeting new friends, or even cutting your hair, change happens. It happens to inanimate objects. when a graffiti artist happens to come by an abandoned alley way and make it more vibrant, and when some rich bitch decides to dye her ankle biter dogs hair pink (sorry dog, I know that wasn’t your choice).
people that don’t let other people change are the worst. don’t hold me back from happiness because you’re stuck where you are and don’t want to take a blind leap of faith with me. if you’re not ready to go on this journey with me, that’s okay, but don’t make me feel bad for jumping.
people need to learn to embrace it. things do not stay the same. if things do stay the same life just becomes too comfortable, and not the good kind like you want. don’t be afraid to take risks and get out of your comfort zone. that’s how awesome stories begin and how amazing memories are made. i feel like if we don’t change, then we can’t grow. if we can’t grow, then we stay stuck while everyone else is off doing incredible things. we get jealous. jealousy hold us down. instead of harboring that hate… take it and go do something that you’ve never done before. make it something positive.
I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting in this lovely beginning of fall. There’s something peculiar about it. Lots of coincidences that are happing now that directly relate to 2 years ago. It warms my heart to look back and remember those feelings of new love.
This is difficult. No one said it was going to be easy. Almost 3 months in, and I know I can’t quit. I know it will take time.
